What a great story! It definitely is up there with the great modern young adult fiction. There is a lot of action, good character development and a great ending to the story. There were a couple of things you wish were wrapped up, like Jess's situation but it was pretty good.Here's where I come to the reason I knocked stars off, just like I did for every other book in the series. Holy God, please PROOFREAD. The grammatical errors were horrid. Every page or so, I grimaced while reading, because the errors were so distracting that it almost ruined my reading experience. I don't expect perfection, but if I feel a strong desire to edit this book while reading it, I'm not getting the full enjoyment out of it.
If you want a great story with good characters and a lot of action, read this series. Just bee sore that grammar isn't to important too you. (Yea, it's distracting).

After reading the first book for free, I had to buy the whole set. Awesome story. I couldn't put the books down. I can't waiting to see more from this author!
In keeping with the integrity of the "Doorknob Society" series, MJ Fletcher has done it again! What a great read! You want action? Fantasy? As with the previous books in this series, you won't be able to put this down until you've read the last sentence!
last part of this series read them all in order, I didn't want the story to end. they had to face off against another secret society who wanted to keep the magic to themselves and wreck the world ,everything worked out good int the end thank goodness.
An exciting adventure for a group of friends who are trying to avoid a war. With their combined abilities, they are successful in stopping the threat for a while. This story has a lot of action and loyalty between the group. The author has created some characters you can really see and get involved with.
Best series EVER. Harry Potter move the heck over! This is fantastic and wonderful and gritty and definitely delivers the goods in the entertainment department. Gives you lots to think about even when you are not reading the books.Thanks for the memories!
1st book was well done- so i got all 5 DON'T DO IT......turned into a speed read by #4 one fight/squabble/battle/conflict---etc after another--inone chapter there were 7---i think there are 46 chapters in this---worthless--11-13 year old junk!
A great ending to an awesome series!
I've really been putting off writing this review. I'm not ready to admit that it's over. The Doorknob Society Saga has been one heck of a ride, and I'm sad to see it end. But with all good things, I guess it was time.
After the long wait, Nightshade and Chloe finally had a shot together, and just as I hoped, they were the perfect team. The characters that I've come to love, worked alongside my favorite couple in this last battle against the First Kind. Will they all survive? Well, you'll just have to pick up The Skeleton Key Guild to find out.
This final segment of The Doorknob Society Saga was just as action packed as the others. Fletcher threw in some twists that I hadn't seen coming, and pulled all the loose ends together nicely.
If I didn't like the ending, it was only because I wanted more. Like I said, I'm sad to see this series end, and I know I will be re-reading it over and over.
I highly recommend these books to everyone!
